The blade shape of the Buckels knives has remained unchanged for over 140 years. Originally, this design came from the German countryside. The combination of a thinly-ground blade with the round shapes makes a Buckels knife great for breakfast foods. The thin blade also leaves the inside of a hard bun intact.
