Als kleine broer van de Sog seal elite moet hij zeker niet onderdoen aan het groter model. de seal pup elite word geleverd met een hoogwaardige nylon sheath die uiterst geschikt is voor molly bevestiging. Het mes ligt goed in balans, is gemaakt uit een zeer duurzaam staal en kwam zeer scherp geleverd. Door het bowie model met clip point is dit mes uiterst geschikt voor tactical situaties.
Dit laat niet weg dat hij zeker zijn mannetje kan staan in een survival/ bushcraft setting. All in all een zeer deftig mes.

cons: het handvat ziet er wat goedkoop uit, eerder naar de duurdere categorie toe

Pros: het handvat is zeker niet goedkoop maar zeer duurzaam, top merk die levert wat ze beloven, goed staal die lang scherp blijft en zich makkelijk laat slijpen indien nodig, Full tang, etc etc 

Toegegeven, ik ben niet echt bekend op messengebied en nog niet verwend met goede messen (mijn duurste mes was tot zover 50 euro geweest) dus ik ben snel tevreden. Dit mees echter, overtreft echt alle verwachtingen.. 
Ligt heel erg fijn in de hand, zelfs als je handen vies, nat en modderig zijn. Materiaal is echt heerlijk, en je voelt dat het een werkmes is. Heel erg scherp, wordt ook vlijmscherp geleverd, verwacht niet snel te moeten slijpen. 
Foedraal is ook zeer prettig. Plek voor mijn vuursteen en slijpsteen :) In de nylon foedraal zit waar het lemmet in gaat extra kunststof versteviging, zal dus niet snel kaduuk gaan. Heeft ook erg goede bevestigingsmogelijkheden, voor bijvoorbeeld in of aan je tas, aan je broek of wat dan ook. Extra puntje voor de bevestiging van het mes op het foedraal: het is niet slechts een klittenband bevestiging, maar er zit ook een drukker op! 
Mes zit overigens ook muurvast in het foedraal, zal er absoluut niet uitvallen als niet bevestigd. Tevens zit er ook niets los, rammelt dus ook niet zoals bij de kunststof foedraal. 

Alom al een erg fijn mes, goed voor simpel werk zoals een dagje stappen in de bossen maar ook perfect voor werken in de bossen (ik doe met een maat bosbeheer als hobby). 

Erg mooi en super robuust mes. Ik gebruik hem voor 'trekking' tochten en met het geleverde foedraal is het ideaal om vast te zetten op bijvoorbeeld een rugzak. Het mes wordt vlijmscherp geleverd door SOG.
