The Wüsthof sharpening steel 4483, 26 cm has a diamond-coated abrasive layer. This makes this sharpening steel suitable for sharpening the hardest types of steels. An additional advantage is the abrasion-resistance of diamond. The sharpening rod, therefore, has an exceptionally long service life.
