The Fox Derespina Karambit is a cool karambit knife, made in Italy. Fox is renowned for its karambit's and this Derespina is another excellent example. It is stunning and amazing to use thanks to the shape of its blade. The double hollow edge truly takes hold of the material. There is no way to escape it. You can quickly cut through rope with this knife. The transition between the two cutting surfaces works a little like one large serration.
The karambit has its origins in south east Asia. Here it evolved from being an agricultural knife to a combat knife for one on one fights. You use a karambit by putting your index finger through the ring so that the blade is located at the bottom of your fist.
You open the N690Co steel blade with the double thumb studs. A solid detent makes sure the blade stays closed at first, but will afterwards open with a solid click. When opened the linerlock keeps the blade in place. G10 scales are placed around the liners. The handle is enhanced with screw holes for all four pocket clip positions. As such you can decide for yourself how you carry the knife.
