This Kershaw Blur is different from it's namesakes because of the blade, which is made of S30V-powder steel. This is a very high quality steel with a very fine structure that retains it's edge for a long time and is up against the tasks of a tough life. The blade has a stonewash finish. It looks beautiful and has the advantage that minor damage will be camouflaged. The blade is blocked using the Inset Liner Lock. A construction by Kershaw in which the knife is not equipped with continuous liners along the entire length of the knife. Only a small liner to fasten the liner lock, is mounted. The pocket clip can be mounted in 2 ways: tip-up and tip-down.
