Functional Santoprene rubber trainer version of the original Recon Tanto. Perfect for various kinds of knife practice. Blade length: 7 inch


This rubber trainer version of the original Recon Tanto has been carefully fashioned to look as realistic as possible, so it can be effectively used in solo practice, training drills, disarm drills, and demonstrations and any other activity where you want a reasonably close approximation of realism but not the extreme danger and risk associated with an actual knife.  

The Santoprene rubber blades are soft enough to prevent the likelihood of most bodily injury.  

It does however, have a level of firmness that might cause injury to the face or the eyes, so it is recommended that appropriate eye protection or a fencing mask is utilized at all times when using a Cold Steel® rubber training knife.

Très pratique pour s'entraîner sans se blesser.

Nice to fiddle with, comes in handy in training drills. Very light, as to be expected.

Mit Übungsmessern ist das ja immer so eine Sache, manchmal braucht man weiches Gummi, das bricht aber schnell, Manchmal braucht man Metall, das ist aber nicht ungefährlich.
Die Kunststoffversion ist ein guter Kompromiss, liegt super in der Hand und hat eine realistische Größe.

Das Trainingsmesser liegt sehr gut durch den texturierten Griff in der Hand. Das Material gibt  genügend nach, sodass im harten Einsatz das Verletzungsrisiko gering ist, aber stabil genug ohne zu brechen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
