The **Mora Bushcraft Survival** is a very popular knife, and for good reasons. It's a fixed blade, made of carbon steel. The steel has a black coating to protect the steel against corrosion. Besides, it also looks nice. The dimensions of the Bushcraft Survival are very well chosen. Big enough for heavier work, small enough to carry with you. The weight of 125 grams can even be called light.  
  


The plastic sheath is nice and sturdy and clamps the knife very well. Beside the knife, you also have room voor the firestarter, which is included in delivery. The back of the blade has been ground especially to use it with a firestarter. A little sharpening stone is also included. It has a spot on the outside of the sheath. Two different belt clips are included in delivery. One of them is long and closed and the other has an open construction. In short, something for everyone! Delivery includes a firestarter and sharpening stone.

Upon first impressions I was pleased with the feel of it in hand, it fits very comfortably and feels sturdy. Clearly this blade is testament to the craftsmen!

Das Messer wurde sehr schnell geliefert und der Versand erfolgte völlig problemlos. Ich hab das Messer mit in den Wald genommen und stundenlang damit verschiedene Holzarten geschnitzt und selbst nachdem ich damit zirka 10 cm dickes Holz gespalten habe, hatte die Klinge keinerlei Schäden und war sogar noch sehr scharf. Das Feuerstahl funktioniert auch einwandfrei und Feuer machen klappt sehr gut. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und für diesen Preis kann man kein besseres Bushcraft Messer finden.

Al lang wou ik een mes kopen om o.a hout te splijten voor in mijn petromax rocketstove. Iemand raadde mij dit mes aan en ja het bevalt me. De firestarter werkt veel beter dan een andere die ik eens cadeau kreeg. Pas komende winter zal ik het mes echt gebruiken maar mijn eerste indruk is heel positief.
