The **CRKT Razel Compact 4036** is a compact knife with an elegant design by Jon Graham, from Cleveland. The Razel is a fixed blade knife made for cutting rope, planing wood, for example, and cutting a multitude of things. The blade is hollow-ground, with a chisel at the front with a small round part and a sharp Veff serration at the top of the blade. Not to be confused with jimping. The Razel comes with a black thermoplastic sheath with a pocket clip. 

## G10 scales

G10 is a strong composite material made from glass fibre and epoxy resin, it offers excellent durability and a great grip. It is resistant to general wear and tear, warping and other tough conditions, making it ideal for outdoor and tactical knives.

## D2 steel for excellent sharpness retention

D2 steel is known for its exceptional toughness and wear resistance, making it perfect for knives and tools that need to retain their sharpness for a long time. However, this steel is not very corrosion resistant. This can be easily solved with a bit of oil, though!

## Sheath with pocket clip

This knife comes with a handy, polymer sheath with pocket clip. It allows you to put the sheath in your pocket. You can remove the clip in order to carry the knife as a neck knife with a piece of paracord.
