The **Fällkniven H1 Elmax** is a rock-solid hunting knife, with a classic Scandinavian look and feel. When you look at the basic shape of the knife you might recognize the Scandinavian Puukko. This one, however, is made from modern materials. So, a type of modern hunting puukko, as you can tell when you look at the shape of the blade with the long belly and the missing knife guard. The pointed tip has slightly been lowered to make sure you don't accidentally puncture the intestines when you gut game.

## Thermorun handle

The handle is made from Thermorun. A rock-solid plastic that has been used for Fällkniven handles for years. Because the materials seamlessly merge with the tang of the blade, without any cracks or holes, you can easily clean it. Very hygienic. 

## Elmax steel blade

Elmax steel is a high-end European steel type. The steel is stainless and retains its sharpness well. Considering the modest length of the blade it is still incredibly strong because of its 4.9 mm thickness.

Fällkniven used Zytel for the sheath. This is a strong type of plastic that is easy to clean. You can use the belt loop to carry it on your belt to make sure you will always keep it close.
