The **Kizer Splinter** is the successful result of the collaboration between Kizer and designer Tom Stokes. It is made of premium materials and they have used production technology that is normally only found on knives from a higher price range. The Kizer Splinter is designed with the goal of offering quality and luxury, which starts with the packaging. When you open it you can see that the blade fits nicely inside the included pouch. The knife comes with a cleaning cloth. The knife feels really sturdy and opens lightning-fast thanks to the flipper. The ceramic ball-bearings make it run very smoothly. Also the detent ball is ceramic which helps the durability of the pocket knife.


## Kizer Splinter: a premium knife in every aspect


The blade is made of CPM SV35VN-steel and is delivered razor-sharp. The steel is a powder metallurgy and can be sharpened to a really sharp result. The tough stonewashed finish shows no scratching or traces of dirt. The recurve blade gives it a deep belly with which you can cut very finely. Both the pocket clip as the handle are 3D-machined and this gives the knife an exclusive appearance. A frame-lock blocks the knife. The steel insert on the titanium lock-bar is special and prevents the titanium from grinding into the blade and stretching out the lock-bar during unlocking. The result is a smooth lock which will last for years.

Aufgrund der Darstellung habe ich mich sofort in dieses Messer verliebt. Habe die geflammte Titan Variante ausgewählt was ich nicht bereue. Schöner langer Stachel aber ich hätte mir etwas mehr Gewicht gewünscht damit es satter in der Hand liegt. 

Het design sluit aan op alles waarvoor ik hem gebruik. Het lemmet is dik genoeg en het handvat sterk genoeg om grof werk te verrichten. De snede is plat waardoor je ook het appeltje met gemak schilt. Het is een ideaal EDC mes.

Exact wat ik er van verwachte (aan de hand van de beschrijving op de website.)
Zeer mooi mes. Ook heel handig, maar moest wat wennen aan het openen. Gaat niet zò vlot als je zou denken. Ik krijg het bvb. niet open met de tip van mijn vinger, maar wel met de zijkant er van. Springt wel perfect en soepel open. Blijft niet hangen zoals gebeurd met goedkopere messen van dat type.
Je voelt en ziet dat het hier om een superieur kwaliteitsproduct gaat.
Absoluut geen spijt van. In tegendeel.
