If you cannot decide whether to buy it or not, just go ahead. Came in very harp with drop-shut action. A perfect and very fidgety knife. My first knife with a compression lock and I prefer it over all other locking mechanisms.

Pivot was too tight and the knife had pretty bad lockstick out of the box, after disassembling, lubricating and playing with the body screws it's now operating perfectly. Razor sharp factory edge and the micarta feels good.

Great knife from a great company with a very interesting steel. I bought it to try out Cru-Wear. Keeps a very fine edge and it’s very tough. I had the knife for a few months know and I’ve yet to re-sharpen it. The knife offers a very solid construction. Some reviews I’ve seen state the thin micarta as a problem, particularly over the compression lock tab. It’s never been a problem to me. In fact, I only noticed that in the design because it was pointed out during a review video after I purchased the knife. Wouldn’t not have noticed it otherwise. One downside - quite expensive for what it offers but I feel it’s worth it

My first Spyderco. Smooth action, very sturdy and solid construction(the metal part). Thin Micarta top left doesn't bother me much. But it could be thicker for overall excellent knive. CruWear blade is factory sharp as hell. I am happy with my purchase maybe later one day I put another sturdyer Micarta on the knive. Excellent Knivesandtool service. Thank you
