You take this **Agawa Boreal21 foldable saw** with you during all your outdoor adventures. You use it while camping, backpacking, hunting or working in the garden. When closed the saw is completely folded into the frame to protect you and your gear. When folded this light-weight saw has a length of only 54.6 cm and a height of 5 cm. As such you can easily take it with you. Keep in mind that, even though it may look compact, you still keep a keep a practical tool close with an all-purpose saw blade of no less than 53.3 cm. Because of the fibreglass-reinforced nylon lock on the back the saw blade automatically adjusts to the correct tension, so that it cuts optimally every time.


The system is easy to use. You open the folded saw by first releasing the green part of the handle. With one smooth movement you open the aluminium frame and click the black part of the handle into the green part. As such you easily open the AGAWA Boreal21 without having to touch the saw blade. Within seconds you can get to work and tackle dry, hard and soft wood!


The AGAWA Boreal21 comes with an all-purpose saw blade. The unique, double-shaped serrations leave a precise cutting edge. Great when it comes to accuracy, when, for instance, making a trap or tent poles. As soon as the saw blade needs to be replace you can easily exchange it with a new [AGAWA saw blade](/en/pt/-agawa-all-purpose-saw-blade-53-3-cm.htm) from our range. Standard saw blades from the hardware store also fit on this saw. Replacing the saw blade is easy, you don't need any extra tools for that.


## Maintaining the AGAWA Boreal21


Regularly maintain your axe with the help of some maintenance oil to prevent rust and to maintain the function of the axe. Use Ballistol maintenance oil, for instance. You can use use [Ballistol spray](/en/pt/-ballistol-maintenance-oil-spray-200-ml.htm) or simply a [small 50 ml bottle](/en/pt/-ballistol-maintenance-oil-50-ml.htm). Better safe than sorry! Tip: with this oil you can also easily remove resin, to make sure your saw blade stays in great shape.

I am extremely satisfied with the folding saw, it makes a good impression in terms of workmanship, is easy to transport (weight, size) and I got along very well with it during the last sawing session: it bites well. All in all: great

Outils de bonne fabrication, qualitatif avec tout de même un bon tranchant. Seulement me semble pas éternel avec une durée de vie limitée. Rien ne vaut les bons outils d'antan, pour du portatif et du léger c'est top par contre 👍

What a workhorse. Cuts also dried wood like butter. Used it to cut down and half fresh and totally dried trees up to 20cm in diameter with ease to handy logs. No blade twist or bending. Keeps its track. Ready to use in seconds and sturdy as hell. 

This saw is worth every penny! It is just amazing.
