For the price & the quality, i`m very satisfied with the Buck Alpha Hunter Knife. It covers all i need & should expect from a "folding" knife. EVERY Day use for multiple tasks.. I work them hard but without taking the p*** it can take it. Light precision work, Hunting/field-craft, & Building work. Easy to carry on belt, good blade,nice open/close action. nice weight & "very" solid construction...Its a knife that`s more than just a blade.

Feel of the closed knife in hand is strong & well made and the grip is very suffice . The blade can easily be opened while gripping the knife & flicking out with the thumb & makes an amazing clunk sound . The blade is razor sharp and the whole knife looks & feels solid .. Very pleased with my new Buck Alpha Hunter .

Hollow ground blade arrived razor sharp. knife build is extremely strong. Large size and shape make it very ergonomic and comfortable to grip.Rubberised scales are soft and grippy but mark a little easily. Knife opens very smoothly and can be flicked open with thumb studs with minimal effort. Would have concerns about it accidentally opening if pocket carried. Pouch supplied is functional and makes a safer carry option. Knife is too heavy for most to use as an EDC
