The **Civivi Chronic C917** is a light-weight EDC pocket knife. It quickly opens with the help of the flipper and is locked by a solid liner lock. The handle is nice and slim. As such you hardly notice it in your pocket. The blade is enhanced with a thin grind and is therefore amazing to use. Use it for daily tasks such as opening boxes or peeling an apple. Truly a versatile knife! The pointed tip of the clippoint is also great for the more detailed tasks.



## Handle made from G10 and carbon fibre


The handle is comprised of steel liners with 10 scales, with a layer of carbon fibre on top for the cool looks. This is a strong and light-weight material, comprised of synthetic resin and carbon fibres.



## Damascus steel blade


The blade is made from damascus steel. This is a type of steel comprised of two different types of steel that were forged and folded together. By folding it in different ways you end up with a stunning pattern. Originally damascus steel was forged to improve the quality of the steel. Today it simply looks cool.

Geweldig mes voor wanneer het niet al te opvallend mag zijn. Flipt vrij soepel open, al wil het mes nog wel eens in m’n hand blijven steken. Oppassen met grote handen dus.

Superbe couteau. Hyper tranchant à sa sortie du boîtier. Bonne prise en main et discret dans la poche (je le porte au quotidien depuis plusieurs semaine). Belle finition que ce soit la lame damas ou le manche en carbone. Très satisfait. Je le recommande. 

Gorgeous knife. Very sleek and undercover, until the light hits it right and you see that damascus steel with the brushed parts and black handles. It is light, yet the build is solid, no play or wobble anywhere and perfectly alligned. You also get a very usable sized blade. Very smooth action. You can 'throw' this knife open, but I'm convinced it will not open by itself. For this price I think you can not go wrong with this one. 
If I have to name a downside, it might be that the blade when closed, is quite close to the backside. 
And for who is wandering, it is 10Cr15CoMoV and 9Cr18MoV.
