The **Cold Steel American Lawman** is a solid tactical pocket knife, originally made to be used by bobbies as an extremely reliable and decent tool.


The American Lawman is enhanced with a black teflon coated S35VN steel blade and G10 handle. A glass fibre-reinforced, almost indestructible type of plastic. This knife has an incredibly strong type of lock, the so-called Tri-Ad lock which ensures that the knife won't close when you don't want it to. The incredibly royal finger grooves in the handle ensure that the knife won't slip from your hand as you use it. The finger groove at the start of the blade is perfect for your index finger for the more precise tasks. Compared to the Cold Steel Recon 1, the American Lawman is a little more compact and looks a little friendlier.


The American Lawman comes with an additional pocket clip to make sure you can carry on the left and right.

Although Cold Steel has been sold a while ago, the quality control seems still very good. 
Quality wise the American Lawman is great. Action is good, so is the edge and the overall finish. A great knife with a slightly hollow ground edge. Very versatile, strong as a bear and still slicey. The ergos are good, not the best, because handle doesn't quite fill a large hand. But has a nearly perfect choil for precision tasks. It can easily stand up to the PM2, if you don't mind a back lock.
