The **Cold Steel Recon Tanto SK5** is a large and cool fixed knife. Originally Cold Steel is known for its cool tantos. This Americanised blade shape, originally from Japan, has been optimised for its piercing capacity. 


This Cold Steel Recon Tanto is enhanced with a rock-solid blade made from SK5 steel. This is type of carbon steel that can handle its own. Not completely stainless, but the coating will help with this.


The handle is made from Kray-Ex. A rubber-like plastic that offers a lot of grip, even in wet circumstances. The sheath is in the style of Cold Steel's Secure-Ex. Solid, plastic and perfect for both left and right-handed use. Very practical.

Top mes en top verzending. Voor het geld een meer dan prima mes. Normaal geen fan van de secure ex sheeth. Echter past deze als een kydex sheeth

For the price it's a well weighted full tang knife with presence. This thing feels amazing in the hand and great value. I just mean you couldn't get a better tactical/fighting knife for the price. Very sharp out of the box too. This thing would easily cause damage but with the grip there's no chance of you sliping down to the blade. I would definitely buy again and I own a few cold steel knives and if you're just getting into knives it's a great place to start. 

Wer das SRK und oder SRK Compact in seiner Sammlung hat, kommt natürlich auch um das Recon Tanto nicht herum. Die perfekte Synthese aus traditioneller japanischer Klingengeometrie und modernen, taktischen Materialien. Habe es gleich 2x bestellt (schwarz + braun), aber in diesem Fall finde ich den schwarzen Griff am passendsten. Ein tolles Teil zum fairen Preis. Damit schmeckt die Pizza gleich noch besser.

Ik heb altijd een tanto  van cold steel willen hebben.  Met de aanschaf van dit mes zie ik dit als een welkome aanwinst voor mijn collectie.
