The blade is made of AUS8A stainless steel and is tough rather than hard. It is also easy to hone, even for less experienced users.   
  

The new model comes equipped with the ultra-strong Cold Steel Tri-Ad locking system, which protects the user from the blade unlocking when in use. The handle of this new model is made of Grivory, which is considerably stronger than Zytel. The handle also features aluminium liners, which give the knife added stiffness and strength. An extra belt clip is included for left-handed use.

Stevig en goed mes voor een goede prijs, enige nadeel is dat hij door de stonewash durft te roesten..... zelfs gewoon door het zweten in je broekzak in de zomer. Maar is enkel oppervlakkig en met een beetje olie te verhelpen.
Een beetje groot als je geen coldsteel formaten gewoon bent maar een goed mes dat tegen een stootje kan met een super stevige vergrendeling
Is eentje van mijn meest gebruikte messen 

Cold Steel Voyager ist vom handling her das beste Messer was ich je hatte. Mein nächstes Messer wird wohl wieder ein Cold Steel.
Die Lieferung war schnell und problemlos.

Echt een goed, degelijk mes.
Een boer werkpaard onder de messen.

Houd redelijk z'n scherpte vast, is goed scherp te houden.
Als edc draagt het bij mij zeer onopvallend, draagt diep.
Het is wel een groot mes, maar ik heb het vaak niet in de gaten.

M'n eerste Voyager nu bijna 3 jaar in bezit, nog steeds als nieuw.
Zo goed dat ik een tweede heb aangeschaft.

Enig nadeel: pocket clip gaat steeds los zitten.
Voordeel: een mes waar je op kan vertrouwen, ik raad hem zeker aan!

Een echte slicer.
Ietwat gladdere greep dan de G10 handgrepen van de andere Cold Steel zakmessen.
Maar de grip is nog steeds uitstekend.


Uistekend mes.
Degelijk , vlijmscherp,mooie flat grind waardoor het geschapen is voor het echte snijwerk.

Maar de Large is een beetje te groot voor mijn smaak.
Tot 3 inch lemmet is meer dan voldoende voor waar ik een zakmes voor gebruik.
Maar hou je van grote zakmessen,dit is een prima keuze.
1 van de betere van Cold Steel, gezien de flat grind en het relatief lichte gewicht.
