The **CRKT Biwa 2382** is a light-weight fixed knife, designed by Alan Folts. When every gram counts you take the CRKT Biwa with you. It only weighs 45 grams! Next to nothing for a fixed knife with a blade that is 7.7 cm long. Perfect to prepare your lunch during a hike or camping trip. Or even to skin game or fillet fish.



The handle is relatively slim and thin, but because of the additional grip serrations you have enough grip over the knife. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. Sounds difficult, but it is simply a good type of steel you can easily sharpen yourself. The handle is made from layered G10 which has a kind of wooden look and feel.



The CRKT Biwa coms with a plastic sheath. This sheath keeps it perfectly in place. Wear it around your neck like a neck knife. Or attach it to your belt or backpack with the belt clip.

A cute little knife, but due to the high thickness-to-height ratio (and thus, broad grinding angle) of the blade, it isn't very useful for precise slicing of vegetables, fruit, or salami... So either I just have to get used to it or it isn't meant to be a kitchen knife. 
Other than this, I really like it. If the sheath was not so broad, but a slim sturdy sleeve instead, I probably couldn't resist buying it again. 

Super petit couteau. Fiable pour les petites tâches du camp . Son acier est pas mal ainsi que son manche. Plus d'un mois que je l'ai et il ne me quitte guère.

Handy little fruit knife with a decent sheath. Takes an edge well and useful lanyard hole. Buy one!
