This **Fiskars WoodXpert machete XA3** is a perfect when pruning smaller branches, weeds and when removing undergrowth and bark from logs. Because of the curved end of the handle this machete feels amazing in hand. The handle is made from hollow, light-weight FiberComp. The fibreglass reinforced plastic FiberComp handle is stronger than a handle that is merely made from wood. Tests have shown that while a wooden handle breaks a FiberComp handle will simply carry on. The handle absorbs vibrations and increases the grip and the comfort as you use the axe. 


Because the steel blade is bent backwards this machete has more power. The hook-shaped blade also ensures that you can easily lift larger branches off the ground. The cutting edge continues in the 'hook'. With it you can efficiently and dynamically prune whatever you wish to prune.

Ligt lekker in de hand en afgestompte kromme punt voorkomt ongelukjes bij misslagen, blijft ook na redelijk intensief gebruik nog scherp. Oranje handvat voorkomt zoekraken. Nog niet opnieuw geslepen, hoop dat dat goed gaat. Wat mist is een systeem om 'm aan je broekriem of zo te hangen.

Sur.  En randonnee leger et tres efficace

Wat is dit een veelzijdig ding! Zeer tevreden. Zo de rugzak in.
