The **Fox Black Fox KIT** is a mini pocket knife for those who prefer compact tools. Because of its size the Fox KIT is also great as a back-up pocket knife. For in your EDC pouch, for instance. No matter how you look at it, you always have enough room for the KIT.



The sheepsfoot style blade is made from decent 440C steel. A type of steel you can easily sharpen. The scale is made from G10 and offers enough grip. You open the Fox KIT with the thumb hole after which a framelock will lock the blade when opened. Despite its size you can easily carry the KIT on your pocket. The knife is enhanced with a relatively large pocket clip.

Dit mes was even wennen maar bevalt me uiteindelijk erg goed. Mijn eerste indruk was dat hij toch wel erg klein was, en de framelock was (vermoedelijk door de korte lengte en het dikke metaal) ontzettend moeilijk weer los te krijgen. Maar het formaat blijkt juist erg fijn te zijn. Het lemmet is erg solide, en door het kleine formaat is er precies mee te werken. Ik heb er bijvoorbeeld recent een nieuw duveltje mee gesneden uit een droge tak, voor in een stuk speelgoed. Hij bleek goed scherp en lag verrassend goed in de hand; je legt van nature je duim of vingers op het lemmet, wat genoeg ruimte biedt. En die framelock werd na een tijdje een stuk soepeler, al is het nog steeds wel kracht zetten. Inmiddels ben ik erg aan dit mesje gehecht geraakt. 

Bien sûr, c'est quelque part un couteau gag. 
Mais il n'a rien d'un jouet, la courte lame, solide et bien affutée, vient à bout de tous les emballages.
