The advantage of this small machete when compared to a full-size model is that this machete is a little easier to handle. Gerber and survival expert Bear Grylls developed this Indonesian parang-based machete together. Small(er) only refers to the dimensions. The quality is 'full-size'. The full tang blade seamlessly merges with the plastic handle. The handle feels soft to make sure it doesn't slip from your hands. For additional safety you can also use the wrist strap.  
   
After completing your work you can easily store the parang in the black nylon sheath. The back of this sheath is enhanced with an orange label containing international emergency signals.  
   
A manual with survival tips is also included.

Super Machete für leichtes Buschwerk.

Holz, lieber was mit 1095 nehmen, ich hatte schnell Dellen drin.
Aber, dafür ist sie ja nicht gedacht!

Produit correspond parfaitement à la description 

Gekocht net voor de zomervakantie,. vanwege de gunstige prijs en prima kwaliteit. Stevig, scherp en licht kapmes met groot rubber handvat.. Het vrijmaken van een pad met lichte begroeiing gaat uitstekend. Ook voor tuinwerkzaamheden erg geschikt.. Door de opvallende kleuren zie je dat het een stuk gereedschap is en geen "wapen", waardoor je hem zichtbaar mee kunt dragen in het stevige foedraal. 
Voor zwaarder kapwerk minder geschikt,  doordat het lemmet geen "verdikking" heeft blijft het bij het hakken van dikkere takken diep vastzitten. 

Excellent produit, très léger avec un faible encombrement. Par contre plutôt fait pour couper de la végétation fine selon moi. Excellent tranchant. Etui plastifié à l'intérieur et très léger. Produit à conseiller.
