The **Gerber Prybird-X Solid State Small** is a compact and versatile pocket knife. Characterizing about this knife is that the knife is not the most important tool. As the name might already suggest it is the pry-bar located at the end of the handle. With it you pry open things you don't want to use your pocket knife for. But also opening a beer, stripping electric wires, tightening screws or even removing a nail will be a piece of cake. You should consider the knife to be a bonus.

 But a really good bonus! Because of its pointed tip this knife is perfect for the more detailed tasks. Also when opening boxes. With the button the knife slides out. To make sure this doesn't accidentally happen in your pocket you do need to completely press this button. To slide the knife back in you press it down again.

 Such a thin knife can easily break, right? Not really. Because it is thin it is also flexible. If it does break. Of if you want to exchange it for a new piece. You can easily replace it with a standard #11 hobby knife. Available in any office supply store.

Je suis fan des pry bar de chez gerber 
Celui ci est parfait 

Leuk dingetje. Voelt stevig aan, maar het is wel even friemelen om het mesje te kunnen vervangen. Dat heeft dan weer als voordeel dat het mesje er niet snel uit zal vallen! De lanyard zit echt onbegrijpelijk onhandig geknoopt, dus die heb ik zelf maar veranderd. Al met al zeer tevreden.

Super handig als EDC. Jammer dat er geen clip voor je riem of broekzak aan zit en is hij iets te groot voor de sleutelbos. De lanyard zit ook steeds rond de flessenopener gedraaid. Die knoop je dus best even andersom.
