WÜSTHOF has fantastic value for money with its Gourmet series The knives have the same high quality WÃ¼sthof stands by. The blade is laser cut from a single piece of steel (chromium-molybdenum-vanadium). The polypropylene handle is attached to the blade with tightly-secured rivets. The blade runs through the entirety of the handle. The result is a knife that looks very similar to the knives from the Wusthof Classic series. But because of the production method the Gourmet knives considerably cheaper. Many users find the lower weight an advantage as well. The Gourmet series is very comprehensive so anyone can put together their ideal knife set.  
   


The chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel retains its sharpness whilst also being able to sharpen easily. Although these kitchen knives can go in the dishwasher, we advise anyway to wash them by hand.

Mooie set met alle messen die je nodig hebt. Gebruik vooral koksmes, kleine mesje en broodmes. Zeker dat broodmes is een verademing in vergelijking met mijn oude botte broodmes. Kan nu eindelijk stokbrood in mooie plakjes snijden, zonder alles kapot te drukken.

Messen zien er mooi en degelijk uit, worden scherp geleverd en liggen prima in de hand! Mooie set, voor mooie prijs. Zeker voor beginners!

Messenset pas een paar weken in huis voldoet tot nu toe prima.
Over de duurzaamheid kan ik nog weinig zeggen,maar scherp zijn ze zeker.Het topje van m'n linkerduim weet er over mee te praten.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
