 The Karesuando Vuonjal is a typical is a typical Scandinavian outdoor knife. The handle of *curly birch wood* is rubbed with oil so it can better stand the elements. They have added a ring or reindeer antler which looks really beautiful. The ergonomic shape of the handle makes this knife really comfortable to use. The 12c27-Sandvik steel blade has a scandi-grind, a typical Scandinavian way of sharpening which makes the edge very strong and easy to sharpen. The blade and handle are separated by a gorgeous brass bolster.


The knife comes in a traditional leather belt sheath with plastic insert. It can be worn both horizontally and vertically.

Les coutures sont faites par des amateurs (à la va-vite), avec un passant de ceinture déchiré, pour le fourreau.
la "belle" présentation s'est délitée dans mes mains à l'ouverture (bois mal collé).
Et j'ai reçu un modèle pour gaucher (dissymétrie du manche, et port dans le dos inversé) . Il y avait 7% de chances que ça arrive.
Je ne suis vraiment pas chanceux...

La lame courte est très utile en usage forestier, préparer un sandwich, couper une petite branche ou dépecer. La finition est à la hauteur de la tradition nordique: excellente! C'est un joli couteau utilitaire, un cadeau idéal pour l'amoureux des balades nature.

Es ist alles so wie man es sich vorstellt! Genial!
