Lighting a fire difficult? Not with the Light my fire Tinder-on-a-Rope! This Mexican pine wood has a resin share of 80% and is also known as *fat wood*. Cut a few splinters of the Tinder-on-a-Rope and the wood is very easy to ignite with a fire starter, such as the Aurora Fire Starter. Matches will, of course, also work as well. The wood burns fast, long and hot. The perfect basis to start a large fire. Even in wet conditions it will burn well because the fire is mainly fuelled by the resin, not the wood.

A nice chunk of fatwood I have purchased these a few times as I can't get it easily here in ireland .

Alles wie beschrieben. Funktioniert tadellos. 

2eme que j’achète, rien à dire ça marche à merveille. 

Les petits copeaux obtenus s'enflamme au quart de tour avec un firesteel, avec un briquet aussi du coup.
Attention toutefois de le glisser dans un sac plastique ou autre contenant, lorsqu'il fait un peu plus chaud, car évidemment la résine redevient liquide et suinte... mon sac a un beau souvenir maintenant...
