This **Lodge Cast Iron reversible grill/baking sheet** can be used as a large cooking surface. It fits on top of two burners on your stove. Make sure that when you use both burners at the same time they are the same temperature, for the best heat distribution. Or use this grill/baking sheet in the oven, on the grill or over an open flame.


You can turn this sheet over. One side has a smooth surface and the other side is enhanced with deep ridges. You use the smooth side as a baking sheet. The deeply ridged surface ensures that any fat is drained. The same ridges also leave stunning grill stripes on your meat or vegetables.


## Maintaining your Lodge grill/baking sheet.


 As the sheet is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use cast iron Lodge products, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the sheet after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](kato://product/ LG-L-Scrcombo) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water on the sheet for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the sheet after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/ LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the sheet in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!
