The Mora Wood Carving 162 is a specialized tool for wood carving. It's very suitable for spooning wood, for example to cut spoons. The round shape enables you to carve wood in a way that you couldn't do with a regular knife. Compared to the Mora 163, it cuts smaller pieces.  
  


The blade is sharpened on three sides, also at the end. This makes the tool very versatile. If you work creatively with wood carving, this tool is practically indispensable.

Alles soweit sehr zufrieden. Einen kleinen Mangel muss ich trotzdem bemerken. Die Klingen sollten einen Lederschutz besitzen. Habe so etwas bei anderen Herstellern gesehen. Einmal für besseren Schutz der Klinge und zur Aufbewahrung.

Zeer goed mes, heb er ondertussen al 2 lepels mee kunnen uithollen, 1 theelepel en een diepere soeplepel. Doordat het mes aan beide kanten snijdt, kan je makkelijk snel en zonder veel verpakken je lepel vlotjes uithollen. Enkel opletten waneer je met je duim kracht zou willen zetten op het mes, het snijd aan beide kanten, dat is een klein naadeeltje wat je bij de 164 niet hebt. Ondanks dit is het prijs/kwaliteit een zeer goede koop!

Good sharp knife with blade on both sides which allows flexible use. Feels nice and sharp and was ideal for carving a spoon from cherry wood. Not supplied with a sheath.

Dit is mn tweede, en hij werkt net zo goed. Echt superfijn om lepels ed mee te maken. Ik gebruik em ook veel om ander hout mooi glad te krijgen. Alleen slijpen is ff leren hoe dat werkt, maar echt een toptool voor dat geld.
