I bought this knife for cutting plug pipe tobacco and on the website it looked like the real deal. And it is. It's nice to look at as well. It's sturdy and extremely sharp! I give the company 5 stars and would buy from them again.

Unfortunately , it did not meet my expectations. It’s very light and blade doesn’t lock when open. I would not recommend this knife. Sorry

A very useful knife for basketmaking. I like that you can lock the blade in an open position and lock it when closed.

Got this as a first penknife for my 9 year old. It's a small knife - perfect for him at this stage, the handle fits his hand perfectly and it's easy to use and very sharp. He loves it. He has cut himself a few times but hey ho - that's par for the course.

Have always carried a pocket knife and this one though small and unlike most Opinel knives , unlockable, is very sharp and does everything I expected. It’s also legal to keep in your pocket! I wish the company would manufacture the next size up (6) as a non lockable version. This would also be legal to carry, I think.

A traditional and legal pen knife (non locking & below 3”) no fuss, easy to use, fits well in the hand and has a very good edge. Highly recommended!

Can’t beat Opinel knives for value. Something to carry around in your pocket and not worry too much about. (Sounds daft but I end up reluctant to use more expensive / fancier knives!) Very quick delivery at a reasonable price.

for a small opinel it is oaky if you use the spine to strike a ferro rod keep the knife closed otherwise you will loose fingers.
