Perfect Knife for me, it’s pretty big so it’s definitely for those of us with big paws. It has a great feel in my hands and I would recommend Opinel to anyone looking for a budget friendly folder that exceeds expectations of quality and performance. Great knife. 10/10 would recommend

I bought my first Opinel Knife 50 years ago in 1968. I still have that knife and it's still as good as it was when new. I decided to invest in a new Opinel 10 and I am not disappointed. The quality of build is still there & the carbon steel blade is just as sharp. Look after your Opinel Knife & it will last you a lifetime !!

I have previously purchased a smaller knife from you and it is superb, holds an edge and is still looking good. However, the latest purchase of the No.10, I am not at all happy with. The blade has badly discoloured, despite being thoroughly cleaned and dried after use, and it doesn't sharpen too well. Don't like to have a moan, lets hope that it was a one off bad batch of steel.

Reaction by Knivesandtools

You are probably comparing stainless/inox knives to non-stainless carbon knives. We will contact you to solve this.

Was a present for my son. Product itself was as he expected and a brand he would purchase again. Good value, etc. Unfortunately the delivery via GLS/parcel force here in UK was not as reliable.despite info on website re tracking ,there was a delay of approx 24hours in it updating. Claims that address was incomplete . but a parcel was delivered to another person with same details. By parcel force. Even after contacting them only sent 1parcel out of 2. In summary products themselves as described re standard of manufacture ,value etc. But I would be looking at who delivery company is in future. GLS/parcel force did not provide an adequate service. Knives and tools verbally stated that they do not have anything to do with this. They do as knivesandtools use GLS/parcel force as their courier. Despite claims on website re tracking

For camp food prep. Considered the 12 but the handle made it look huge. Slices through meat and veg. and of course the blade folds away. If it's a bit stiff tap the heel of the handle on a hard surface and enough blade will show to open it easily. Keep oiled. And it's just beautiful to look at.
