I wanted a small saw to take on hikes and work parties for fishing, but wanted something small and after reading a few reviews I thought Opinel had such a good name and I knew the quality would be excellent and of course it was in the sale and when it arrived it was better than expected. Its compact size means you can carry it in your pocket. It’s sharp as a razor and cuts effortlessly. It feels solid in hand, but yet so light. As with all Opinel products the locking mechanism it’s perfect and tight. It’s one of the best small saws I’ve used and you wouldn’t be disappointed if you purchased one.

Got this for my 10yr old grandson who is studying bushcraft, great little saw for anybody ,strong ,safe to use ,like the way it locks open or closed ,had Opinel knives in past cannot fault them keep good edge very well & looks like saw will be just as good.
