The **Real Steel G-Slip Compact** is a modern slipjoint pocket knife, designed by Ostap Hel. The G-Slip Compact is lightweight, razor-sharp and legal to carry in many countries. This is because you open it with two hands, and it doesn't have a full locking mechanism. There is only a slipjoint that offers some resistance. The handle is made from micarta. The blade is made from Japanese VG10 steel. This is a great type of steel that is easy to sharpen. Very user-friendly!

The great thing about the Real Steel G-Slip Compact is that the slipjoint has a separate half-stop. This half-stop is not a new concept. People have been adding this to knives for hundreds of years. However, what Real Steel does slightly differently is that the half-stop comes a little earlier than regular half-stops. This keeps your fingers safer, and allows you to close the knife with one hand.

This version of the Real Steel G-Slip Compact Red Micarta has a small manufacturing defect. There is a black stripe in the micarta of the handle, which is clearly visible in the photos. The price has been adjusted accordingly.

Très bon couteau je l’utilise tout les jours et ça fait 1 mois que je l’ai et sont tranchants est impeccable je recommande 

Mon sentiment est plutôt à la tristesse.J'ai acheté (9 août)ce couteau pour mon épouse, et aujourd'hui au diner(31 août) son couteau s'est cassé. Visiblement une pièce métallique a rompu, ainsi le couteau ne peut plus rendre son office car la lame se referme dés que l'on veut couper quelques choses. En m'adressant à votre société je pensais que c'était un gage de qualité ayant été recommandé par mon fils. Commandé le 10 août, il est inutilisable le 31 août, 21 jours de fonctionnement. En plus j'avais fait graver son prénom sur la lame. Maintenant j'espère que vous serez en mesure de proposer une solution pour ce préjudice.

ATTENTION, c'est le modèle G-slip Compct et non le grand modèle, la fiche technique est incorrecte.
Mais c'était une bonne surprise pour moi, le couteau est d'une taille idéale pour le quotidien et très léger. Aucun défaut d'assemblage et de qualité égale à un modèle sans défaut. J'en ai acheté un autre du coup, c'est vraiment une bonne affaire !
