The Spyderco Delica 4 is one of the most popular Spyderco models. These knives are enhanced with all famous Spyderco features. You can quickly open the knife with the thumb hole. The solid backlock locks the blade when opened. The dimensions of the Delica 4 are perfect for many. The blade is 7.3 cm long. It is large and comfortable enough for all daily cutting tasks.


The materials used are perfect for an EDC-knife. The top-quality VG10 steel and the FRN (fibre glass-reinforced nylon) scales can handle heat, cold, moisture and a lot of chemicals. Parfait en main ! Lame de qualité (quoique affutable rapidement) et l'ouverture s'est fluidifiée à l'usage. Je déplore que les plaquettes acier n'aillent pas jusqu'au bord du revêtement FRN... même au détriment d'un petit plus en poids, car le son fait très "plastique". Et, surprenant chez Spyderco, il y a un micro jeu lame/stopper (1/10 mm ?) néanmoins pas gênant.

Het mes is klein, dun en licht, dus handig om bij je te dragen, maar niet geschikt voor zwaar werk mee te doen. De zwart geverfde clip laat schade wel veel sneller zien dan een gewone metalen clip, maar hier stoor ik me persoonlijk niet aan.
