The Delica 4 is one of the most popular models by Spyderco. These knives have the famous features of Spyderco folding knives. The thumb hole helps you to open the blade quickly. The solid back lock locks the blade in the open position after which it is safe to use. The dimensions of the Delica 4 are ideal for many people. The knife has a blade length of 7.3 cm. This is large enough to use comfortably in all daily, common cutting operations. And it's small enough to always carry with you. It is light and comfortable to wear and no one will take offense to this knife.  
   


The materials used are ideal for an EDC-knife. It used VG10 steel is very high quality and the FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handles are resistant to heat, cold, moisture and chemicals. The pocket clip can be mounted in 4 different ways. Therefore it is suitable for both right- and left handed users. It is a true friend to all.

Fantastisch. Handzaam formaat, oerdegelijk, opvallende en niet-intimiderende kleur. 

Mes voldoet aan verwachtingen. 
Eerder heb ik een Dragonfly 2 gekocht, maar die vond ik te klein om, naast EDC, te gebruiken bij het vissen. Daarom deze erbij gekocht en dit formaat is precies goed voor mij. 
Fel oranje, zodat als je hem laat vallen in het gras, je hem makkelijk terugvindt.
Net zoals de Dragonfly, kwam deze goed scherp uit de verpakking. Het mes heeft blijkbaar een poosje droog gelegen, maar na twee drupjes Ballistol opent het mes keurig soepel.
De pocketclip heb ik van het mes verwijderd met een Torx-6 schroevendraaiertje, omdat ik dit mes liever gewoon in mijn broekzak draag. 
Al met al helemaal tevreden met het mes en de levering door KaTo.

Geweldig mes. Qua grootte is het perfect voor everyday use. Het FRN waar men van zegt dat het niet als kwaliteit aan voelt,  ik geef het de voorkeur boven mijn g10 paramilitary 2. Het is licht maar heel sterk. De kleur geeft in publieke ruimtes overigens ook geen alarmreactie, wat wel eens gebeurt met bepaalde messen. Het VG10 staal is makkelijk te slijpen en ook heel scherp te slijpen. Echter is het niet het sterkste staal ter wereld, maar meer dan genoeg voor allerdaagse staken. En wanneer het bijgewerkt moet worden dan ben ik blij dat ik met vg10 werk in plaats van s30v of sinds een recente aankoop s110v! Het pakt binnen geen tijd een scherp einde, wat je verder makkelijk nog kunt verscherpen weer. 

Het meest perfecte mes dat ik heb gehad sinds ik ben begonnen kwaliteit-messen te kopen. Ben hier blijer mee dan mijn paramilitary 2 s110v bijvoorbeeld. Het staal, de FRN handle, de kleur, het gemak van slijpen en het formaat; Perfect.
