The Spyderco Police model is a fairly large pocket knife that is thin and narrow in shape and comfortable to carry despite its size.
It was designed to fit the largest possible blade in the smallest possible handle.

Shortly after its introduction, the Police was more or less officially adopted by many police corps in the USA as their back-up weapon.   
  


The blade comes with the familiar Spyderco finger choil that allows one-handed opening, which makes it ideal for both left-handed and right-handed users. The backlock features a Boye Dent for added lock security.   
  


The handle scales are constructed from G10 with open-worked/full length steel liners for maximum strength.   
  

It also features a handy four-way pocket clip

Das Police ist ein super Messer, das ich jederzeit wieder kaufen würde. Alles weiter ist schon der Produktbeschreibung und  den Testberichten im Netz  zu  entnehmen. Ich kann hier keinen Beitrag mehr liefern.  Für den Verkäufer habe ich mich durch Preisvergleiche und Bewertungen entschieden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Das Messer, ein Geschenk, für meinen Angelfreund, wurde schnell geliefert. An dem Messer ist nichts auszusetzen, das kann man getrost seinem besten Kumpel schenken, wenn dieser eine Münze zurück gibt. Das Messer ist hervorragend geschärft, der Messerstahl VG 10 ist top. Es fällt auf, wie leicht es in der Hand liegt, obwohl es kein kleines Messer ist.

Bestellung komplikationslos. Lieferung schnell und problemlos. Der Preis kokurrenzlos. Selten einen derartig positiven Versand kennengelernt zu haben.

Al aren heb ik op knives and tools zitten zoeken naar het juiste mes voor mij. Mijn oog bleef maar vallen op de Spiderco police. Omdat het handvat toentertijd uit (glad) metaal bestond heb ik deze niet gekocht. De police 3 ligt lekker in de hand door het ruwe handvat en het mes schijnt ook een stukje groter te zijn dan zijn voorganger. Ondanks de grootte van het mes weegt hij niet veel en heb je nauwelijks door dat je hem bij je draagt. hij is small en heeft een zeer degelijke lock. Wil je een groot vouwmes bij de hand hebben van goede kwaliteit dan zit je hiermee toch echt wel goed. Een appeltje schillen in de bedrijfskantine, gaat misschien iets te ver, maar voor mij blijft het een EDC.
Wat mij wel opviel bij het uitpakken van het mes, was dat hij niet echt scherp uit de doos komt en dat er een braampje op het snijvlak zit (wat ik niet bij een Spyderco vind passen). Dit zal wel weg te werken zijn na de eerste keer slijpen. 
In het begin gaat met mes wat stroef open, maar dit verandert na flink wat oefenen. Het is een kunstje om aan te leren om het mes snel open en dicht te maken met één hand. Hierover zijn wel video's te vinden op youtube. 
Zoals altijd was de levering snel en de inhoud in orde. Ik ben ook niet anders gewend van knives and tools.
