The **TOPS Knives Tom Brown Tracker** is a particularly versatile survival knife. The impressive blade width of 7.5 mm makes sure this knife can take a proper beating. The back of the knife is serrated so you can saw with it. The first serration is somewhat deeper than the others, which allows you, for instance, to cut through a wired fence. The re-curve in the middle of the edge makes it suitable for carving wood, or to clean shot game. The overall shape of the blade makes it great for lighter work. The 1095 carbon steel blade is razor-sharp and has black Traction Coating to protect it against corrosion and keep it from reflecting. The micarta grips have a subtle white liner. Micarta offers a lot of grip with dry or wet hands/gloves.  
  

For precision work TOPS has created the  [Tom Brown Scout](/en/pt/-tops-knives-tom-brown-scout-tbs-010.htm)  developed. Along with the TOPS Tom Brown Tracker this is a golden combination.

The knife comes in a very tight kydex sheath. This sheath is equipped with a rotatable metal belt clip. This knife is hand-made by TOPS Knives in America. Each knife is carefully checked before it leaves the workshop. Every knife has a unique serial number. The sheath has a life-saving whistle with the logo and creed of TOPS Knives:  *Spec Ops, Trust TOPS!*

Une lame forte et lourde. C’est un couteau efficace pour l’outdoor, spécialement pour la coupe à la volée et pour fendre du petit bois. L’émouture hollow près du manche permet de tailler des morceaux de bois assez facilement. Mais ce n’est pas facile, le poids du couteau enlève de la maniabilité. La scie est anecdotique, elle permet tout de même de faire de petites encoches. L’étui kydex est très fonctionnel. Au final très bon couteau « à tout faire, indestructible, facile à affûter. Très efficace une fois apprivoisé. Prévoir un autre couteau type companion pour les taches délicates.
