The **TRC Knives K-1s Sprint Run** is a cool limited edition of the famous K-1s. Only a limited number of this Sprint Run were produced. This version of the k-1s is therefore very exclusive. The knife is definitely a collector's item and will be the highlight of any knife collection!

The first thing you notice is the Elmax blade. There's only one word to describe it: wow! For this Sprint Run, the finish on the blade makes it look like it has just come out of the furnace. They call this the *Apocalyptic finish*. A brown-bronze look with an occasional streak of blue, green or orange. This Apocalyptic finish is unique on each knife and looks like flowing lava. Something to take into account: TRC has stated that the Apocalyptic finish is a little more sensitive to rust. However, this also means that the knife will look even more brutal over time. To create a nice overall effect, the screws also have a bronze anodized finish. Beautiful.

You could almost forget that the K-1s Sprint Run is also a highly functional knife. The micarta handle offers plenty of grip and feels comfortable in hand. Because micarta changes colour with use, the handle will also grow to look as unique as the blade over time. The ample finger groove ensures that your index finger stays in place, giving you lots of control over the knife.

This knife comes with a robust kydex sheath. It is a top-quality sheath with a beautiful design. The belt loop enables you to comfortably carry the K-1s Sprint Run vertically on your belt. This means you'll always have the knife close at hand. The lanyard with bead is another great little detail.

Das ist mein zweites TRC Messer und ich habe es auch diesmal nicht bereut! Die Verarbeitung und die Qualität sind kaum zu übertreffen! Das Finish gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut, sieht von Anfang an derb aus und man hat keine Skrupel das Messer als Werkzeug einzusetzen!

Es gibt nur eine Sache zu allen Modellen von TRC Knives zu sagen: Perfektion!
Ich hatte in 30 Jahren schon alle möglichen Messer in jeder erdenklichen Qualität und Preisklasse in Nutzung, aber TRC schlägt sie tatsächlich alle. Das K-1s ist da keine Ausnahme. Größe, Griffigkeit, Gewicht, Qualität, Stahl, Kydex-Scheide...alles durchdacht und mit hohem praktischen Nutzen. Bisher hat mich das K-1s nicht im Stich gelassen. Egal ob Batoning, Feathersticks, Fisch ausnehmen, oder Holzwerkzeuge schnitzen, alles klappt mit Leichtigkeit. Die Micarta-Griffschalen geben selbst bei Nässe und kalten Händen einen super halt. Der Elmax hält die Schärfe unfassbar lange, daher habe ich die Klinge nach harten Arbeiten erst einmal nachgeschliffen. Das Messer hat ein ungewöhnlich simples aber hochfunktionales Design. War ich selbst sehr überrascht. Wer Qualität, gepaart mit perfekter Verarbeitung und ungewöhnlichem Design sucht, sollte sich das K-1s, oder jedes andere Modell von TRC Knives, zulegen. Versand und Service bei K&T wie immer vorbildlich. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
