The **WE Knife Banter 2004** is a compact and practical EDC knife, designed by Ben Petersen. In the pocket knife community Ben is also known as [@ben\_banters](https://www.instagram.com/ben_banters/) with his *What iiiiisss up guys!!* slogan. He pictured this WE Knife Banter as a pocket knife that shouldn't look like any other pocket knife, for one of his projects. People asked him why he didn't produce this unique knife. The cooperation with WE Knife was sought after and now it is here: the WE Knife Banter.



With a 7.4 cm blade the Banter is quite modest in terms of size. Not small, simply compact. You have enough grip over the stunning G10 handle. It looks friendly which means you can easily take it from your pocket no matter where you are. You can easily open it with the thumb stud, and a solid liner lock locks the blade when opened.



You can discreetly and safely carry the knife in your pocket with the deep-carry pocket clip. With it you carry it a little deeper in your pocket to make sure it stays in place and is less noticeable. The blade is made from American CPM S35VN. A premium choice that is incredibly popular because of its user-friendliness. It namely retains its sharpness well, is easy to sharpen and corrosion resistant.

An excellent knife at a price
There a thin frontier between the WE Knife Banter and Civivi production (see the new Baby-Banter). It it thus hard to understand the WE Knife Banter pricing except for the quality and aspect of the blade which both are flawless.
This knife really is beautiful imo, but somewhat thick compared to it overall size.
So, it is a solid buy at a price.
