The Classic Ikon series has become one of the most popular Wüsthof series in a short time. Not unexpectedly, because it is a fabulous combination of classic and modern.The Classic IKON series not only stands out because of the design but also because of the ergonomics of the handle. The knives are balanced in a way which allows you to enjoy the ultimate cutting pleasure. 


Because of the absence of a bolster – the thicker part on the side of the blade leading up to the handle – you can cut with the whole blade length of the kitchen knife. And it makes sharpening easier! Like all Wüsthof kitchen knives the knives in the Classic Ikon series are also sharpened with laser precision. The knives come out of the packaging as sharp as a razor blade!

Wat kan ik zeggen, de messen zijn uit de verpakking al superscherp en zijn heel erg fijn om mee te werken. Met de graveerservice zijn ze nu ook een stukje persoonlijker geworden :).

Ik ben erg tevreden over de messen. Ze zijn solide, erg scherp en liggen goed in de hand. Alleen levert het een probleem op. Nu wil ik namelijk meer messen van deze set hebben. Ook wat KnivesandTools.nl betreft ben ik erg tevreden. Een overzichtelijke site, de messen zijn goedkoper en ze zijn snel met levering van de goederen.

I purchased this product as a gift for my son. It will be his 40th birthday soon and he enjoys cooking at home. He asked for this particular knife set as he has read up on the quality etc.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
