The **CRKT KUK 2742** is a kukri machete, designed by Ryan Johnson from RMJ Tactical. The design for this machete is based on the traditional Kukri knives that were used by the Ghurka's in Nepal. Very effective machetes that can carry out almost any task. Johnson used this classical, utilitarian approach and turned it into a contemporary version.



A knife like this should be tough and can handle quite a lot. That is why the blade is made from 65Mn steel. This is a type of carbon steel that can handle its own. It is also easy to sharpen razor sharp.



The ergonomically shaped handle is made from a core of polypropylene surrounded by a thermoplastic rubber. Difficult terms, all you need to know is that it feels great in hand. Even in wet circumstances or while wearing gloves. The holes in the handle enable you to attach the knife to a stick to make sure you also have a spear at your disposal during a survival situation. We also recommend using one of the holes for a wrist strap to make sure you don't lose the knife during use. Very safe!



The CRKT KUK comes with a nylon sheath. Due to its massive belt loop and many lanyard eyes there are many ways to attach and carry it.

Verarbeitung top, preisleistung super.
Das Teil hackt gut, viele dicke Äste auch mit Einem Schlag durch. 
Carbon Stahl beschichtet, da macht man nix falsch. Griff gummierung sorgt für klebrigen halt. Scheide stabil mit schönem Grünen Crkt Logo. 
Einziges Manko, ich finde die Klinge zu dünn, das Messer viel zu leicht für ein Kukri. Arbeitet aber trotzdem super.
Fazit : Rmj design, Arbeitstier,sehr wendig. Wer was leichtes zum Hacken sucht kann hier zuschlagen, wer 600g Monster sucht ist hier falsch.
