The **Victorinox Evoke Alox** is a special pocket knife. This knife has only one tool: a large knife with a one-handed opening. This knife was specifically developed for hunters who want to carry a hunting knife without any other tools. The blade is large and incredibly strong. The handle is robust. The non-slip handle and finger grooves take care of optimal grip, even in wet circumstances. The Evoke Alox can be used by both left-handed and right-handed users.

The handle on the Victorinox Evoke Alox is made from aluminium, with the famous Alox pattern. It's strong and it offers plenty of grip. The blade of the Evoke Alox is placed tightly between the stainless steel liners, even in its folded position. After using the blade, you simply need to rinse it, allow it to dry and apply some oil. It doesn't get any easier than that!

This Limited Edition Victorinox pocket knife has Alox scales in a pleasant, brown colour. 'Terra Brown', as Victorinox calls it. Each year, Victorinox produces a limited number of popular models in a coloured Alox version. When the year ends, these limited editions will no longer be produced. This makes them real collector's items! The year 2024 is engraved on the other side of the handle.

Once opened, the knife locks immediately and doesn't budge. As such, the tool can never close when you don't want it to, also making it perfect for heavy-duty tasks. When opening and closing the blade you hear a familiar click. The knife is very solid and also suited for other outdoor and survival purposes.

Het mes heeft qua grip een goede ergonomie, de thumb stud zit wel vrij hoog op het lemmet en voor het snijvlak zou deze ook wat lager mogen zitten en een hunter pro (tweehandig openen) of een evoke (eenhandig openen) maakt voor mij geen doorslaggevend verschil. Allicht dat veel K&T-klanten liever s35vn en dergelijke staalsoorten zien, maar ik hou van makkelijk slijpbare staalsoorten en dat heeft de evoke. De kleur terra brown en het alox zijn prachtig. Het mes is in relatie tot de staalsoort en het soort locking system niet goedkoop, maar de kwaliteit en stabiliteit qua speling is naar ik denk, wel beter dan bij veel, veel duurdere messen.  Over K&T ben ik zeer tevreden met zeer snelle afhandeling en verzending, en gezien mijn vertrouwen in K&T zou ik niet snel elders bestellen.
