Benchmade Bugout vs Mini Bugout

Ever since it was introduced the Benchmade Bugout has been a hit. As such it was not surprising at all that Benchmade quickly introduced the Mini Bugout. But what are the differences? And why would you choose one over the other? We will explain!

First a couple similarities. The material used for the handle and the steel: identical. And the lock, of course: both are enhanced with Benchmade's characterizing Axis lock. As such both models are great for both left and right-handed use.

The differences

Of course this means that there aren't many aspects left that can be different. So we end up discussing length and weight. A difference of 11 mm for the blade and 10 grams in terms of weight. Doesn't seem like a lot, but in reality this length does make a difference. Both in terms of use and in your pocket.

The Bugout, for instance, is better for those who have large hands or prefer wearing gloves. That is when it is namely a little better to use. But when it comes to sporadic use, where a more compact blade is enough, the Mini Bugout is an excellent choice.
