The **Bark River Bravo 1, K07-121BRKC-RS** was designed for military use, specifically for the U.S. Marine Corps. Soon, however, it became clear that this knife could do so much more. Today, the Bravo 1 is a beloved knife amongst bushcraft enthusiasts and hunters. It has a solid construction, with enough blade thickness for heavy-duty tasks. Perfect for wood work, gutting game and many other outdoor tasks.

## Bark River Bravo 1 blade

The blade is made from American CPM 3V steel. A premium type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. As you'd expect from Bark River, the knife is razor-sharp. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by [stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).

## Bark River Bravo 1 handle

The handle is made from canvas micarta. This is a strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. It is comfortable to hold, even in wet or cold conditions.

The Bark River Bravo 1 comes with a leather belt sheath (max. belt width 8.0 cm). The sheath also has a loop for a firesteel (max. diameter ~7.0 mm).
