The Bark River Bushcrafter is designed as the ultimate bushcraft knife. You, however, don’t easily acquire a name like Bushcrafter. You have to earn it. The shape of the blade is perfect for all types of bushcraft work and the handle feels amazing in hand. The scandivex (scandi + convex) edge is perfect for woodwork. In addition, you can easily sharpen it.
The blade is made from CPM 154. A premium type of steel that is stainless and retains its sharpness well. As you might expect from Bark River, this knife is razor-sharp when it is delivered to your doorstep. The edge has a convex grind and you can maintain it by stropping it.
The handle is made from Desert Ironwood. A type of hard wood that is often found in the United States and Mexico. Characterizing is the stunning colour with the rich pattern. This stunning type of wood gives the knife an additionally luxurious look and feel.
The Bark River Bushcrafter comes with a leather belt sheath. This can be carried straight (max. belt width 5.5 cm) and diagionally (max. belt width 6.5 cm).
Bark River makes most of his knives by hand. As a result each knife is unique. Especially when you are working with natural materials a knife can differ from its pictures. The knife you receive can, therefore, be slightly different from the product photographs. The model and the type of material, however, will remain the same.
