Full description
The Böker Piranha is a small fixed knife that will come in handy anywhere. You can see that designer Scott McGhee thought of everything. From the shape of the blade and the convex edge to a special solution for the use of a firesteel.
The blade of the Böker Piranha is made from 440C steel. A stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The edghe is enhanced with a convex grind in the factory. As such it is stronger than the conventional 'V-edge' and better suited for feathersticken. To mask any traces of use the blade is enhanced with a stonewashed finish. As a result traces of use will hardly stand out.
The handle is made from G10. A fibre-reinforced plastic that offers a lot of grip. The end of the handle is enhanced with a small cut-out. As such a part of steel from the pommel is exposed. Just enough in combination with a firesteel.
You can carry the Böker Piranha in the included kydex sheath that is enhanced with belt clip. Due to its size you can, however, also easily carry it as a neck knife.
