The Casström Classic Spoon Carving Knife is a left-handed spoon knife. You use it to cut-out the hollow side of a wooden spoon, or to hollow out a classic Scandinavian Kuksa-mug.
The blade of the Casström Classic Spoon Carving knife is made from carbon steel. Hardened and tempered up to 58-60HRC to remain sharp for a long time. The edge is of course a classic scandi-edge. Easy to sharpen and perfect for wood work. Carbon steel isn't stainless so make sure that after use you clean it and use a couple drop of oil once in a while. The handle is made from birch wood. The knife comes with a compact leather guard for the edge which is great.
