The Civivi Kiri-EDC C2001 is a compact neck knife. Perfect for EDC use. The name already suggest that this design was inspired by the classic Japanese Kiridashi knives. A straight edge with sharp tip, and a handle that moves upwards a little to make sure you have a lot of control over the knife with your hand. In addition to a 4.6 cm edge to open boxes it also contains another important tool: a bottle opener. To open a nice beer after a hard day of work. Cheers!
Blade made from 9Cr18MoV
9Cr18MoV. Quite the mouth full. All you need to know, however, is that it is stainless and easy to sharpen. 9Cr18MoV is also pretty tough and retains its sharpness well. A great type of steel for a knife in this price range.
The Civivi Kiri-EDC comes with a sleek kydex sheath. It is enhanced with a neck cord you can use to hang it around your neck as a neck knife. Of course you can also attach a clip made by, for instance, Blade-Tech or Ulticlip to this sheath. These are not included.
