The **Civivi McKenna C905** is a compact and light-weight pocket knife, designed by Elijah Isham. The sheepsfoot blade is perfect for EDC use. From small tasks in the kitchen to opening boxes and more common tasks. The shape of the thumb hole and the way the thumb hole merges with the handle is typical for Isham's design style.



You quickly open this knife with the front flipper or large thumb hole. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock. As such your fingers are safe when you use this knife.



## Brass handle


Remarkable about this pocket knife is that the handle is made from brass. Quite heavy, but also very decent. Because of the black coating and the applied texture the knife looks really cool. In time brass will form its own patina, making each knife unique.



## Blade made from 154CM steel.


The blade is made from 154CM-steel. This is a good, stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. 154CM is also easy to sharpen.

Très bonne qualité de finition et d’assemblage. 
Très agréable a l’ouverture comme à la fermeture. 
Le frontflipper marche très bien. 
Et surtout, le couteau est juste magnifique

Petit couteau très joli, la manipulation du front flipper est bien moins aisée que celle d'un flipper classique, surtout au début mais on fini par s'y faire. Pour l'ouverture il faut bien placer sa main pour qu'elle soit éclair, il m'arrive assez souvent de l'ouvrir à moitié et de finir avec un mouvement du poignet.
A proscrire pour les mains de maçon ! Les miennes ne sont pas petite mais assez fine donc ce couteau m'est agréable et il permet de profiter d'une lame de belle taille pour un faible encombrement.
Les plaquettes laiton sont plus belles et plus sombre que sur les photos, plus brune, elles sont fixées sur des platines inox noires avec une entretoise arrière en laiton. La lame "pierre délavée" est très mate, en 154CM, qui m'a l'air d'être un bon acier facile à aiguiser.
Finitions très bonnes, bon tranchant, seul défaut, un gros morfil sur la pointe.
L'ensemble est beau mais trop cher, c'est son design unique et son gabarit qui m'ont fait céder.
