The brown handle is slightly lighter than the pictures. Blade is razor sharp out of cover. The cover system used on this is far superiour than the usual nylon type fabric covers with press studs. Blade already oiled/grease for corrosion resistance while in storage. Its a nice weight but light enough to control and counter with, making it fast, nice balance to it. Will be taking into woods soon for a more in depth test, will be buying another trench hawk and a warhawk also.
