The **CRKT HVAS** is an ultimate EDC pocket knife, for an amazing price. This is unmistakably a design from the Danish designer Jesper Voxnaes. The Scandinavian design is in his blood. In addition to the sleek design the HVAS is enhanced with something remarkable: the Field Strip mechanism. As such you can take it apart in seconds to clean it. Without using tools. Very practical!



This, by Ken Onion, patented Field Strip Technology is so simple it is hard to imagine that it didn't exist yet. Turn a latch, loosen the wheel: open. You clean it and repeat the process, but then reversed. Within thirty seconds it will be fully assembled again. Perfect when you work in surroundings where dirt is a problem. Think of soldiers, mechanics and hunters.



You open the blade with the drop-shaped thumb hole. This shape is characterizing for Jesper Voxnaes' work. When opened a solid liner lock keeps the blade in place. The blade is made from German 4116 steel and the handle from FRN: glass-reinforced nylon. The nice hollow grind stands out. As such it is nice and thin behind the edge and easy to use.
