The **Deejo Art Deco two-piece knife set** is comprised of two ligthweight paring knives. Each knife only weighs 35 grams. You hardly feel them in your hand. As such the knives are practical and great in use. These knives are also great as steak knives, table knives or as universal kitchen knives. The blade of the knives is enhanced with an engraving of different geometric patterns. It might remind you of the patterns and figures you see in the Art Deco movement. With these steak knives decorating your dinner table will be a piece of cake.

## Deejo blade made from stainless 2cr14 steel: serrated and smooth

The knives are enhanced with a blade made from 2cr14 steel. This is a stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. One knife has a serrated edge and the other a straight edge. Both have advantages and disadvantages. A straight edge, for instance, is great when cutting meat without tearing it. A serrated edge will easily cut through a crunchy crust and will retain its sharpness longer. Sharpening it, however, will be more difficult. This is easier when you are dealing with a straight edge. Don't worry, both knives are razor-sharp upon delivery.

## Deejo knives handle material

The knives are enhanced with narrow handles that might remind you of the Deejo pocket knives. The handle of the serrated knife is made from African padouk wood. Padouk has a deep orange-red colour with real grains. The handle of the other knife is made from olive wood. Compared to padouk, olive wood has a light colour with dark and twisting grains.
